Smartly For Competences

Work Packages

Work package – Diagnostic workshops.

The activities planned as part of the package constitute the first stage of substantive work aimed at achieving the project goal.

As part of the work package, it is planned to define a catalog of the 9 most deficient social competences. Competencies will be selected on the basis of workshops conducted using the Design Thinking method. The workshops will be attended by representatives of target groups, i.e. people with disabilities, people living in peripheral areas and with a low level of education. For the competencies selected based on the workshops, the next, third work package will develop diagnosis tools, “indirect” learning scenarios, and methods of validation and issuing micro-credentials.

In addition, the work package includes a meeting of the entities implementing the project in Italy. The aim of the meeting will be to improve the competences and harmonize the knowledge of representatives of partner organizations in the field of creating scenarios of “indirect”learning classes. During the meeting, the main assumptions related to the development of diagnosis methods, teaching social competences, methods of validation and micro-credentials will also be prepared.

Work package – Development of the initial version of the Model for developing and certifying social competences of adults.

The work will include the development of 9 partial training packages for previously selected competences. Each training package will cover a different competence. As part of individual packages, diagnosis methods and lesson scenarios will be defined, taking into account “indirect” learning, as well as methods of validation and issuing micro-credentials for individual competencies.

After developing partial training packages, each Partner will consult them with external trainers, teachers, educators and validators from outside their organization. This is intended to verify the developed model with other organizations/specialists dealing with the education and/or activation of adults, including people from disadvantaged groups.

A meeting of partner entities is planned in Romania, during which each entity will present the results of the consultations. If necessary, corrections will be made to the developed Model. The meeting will also be an opportunity to prepare Partners for the pilot implementation of the Model.

Work package – Piloting and developing the final version of the Model for developing and certifying social competences of adults

The next work package includes pilot implementation of the developed tools and model in three partner countries, development of reports and recommendations, and the final version of the Model. The model will include training packages regarding diagnosis, improving “indirect”social competences, validation and rulesmicro-certification of competences.

Each Partner will organize 3 pilot training sessions with representatives of target groups in their country, using developed tools (training packages included in the “Model for developing and certifying social competences of adults”).

Each workshop will cover a different social competence.

After the workshops, a survey will be conducted among the participants regarding, among others, the assessment of the substantive value, level of satisfaction, and organizational aspects of the classes. In addition, the trainers will independently assess whether, in their opinion, the developed materials allow for the diagnosis of participants, conducting training and validation of participants’ social competences. After completing the pilot, each partner will prepare a report containing recommendations regarding the workshops they tested.

The pilot activities will be summarized during the partnership meeting in Poland.

After the meeting, the final version of the Model will be jointly developed.

Work package – Popularization of the Model for developing and certifying social competences of adults.

The package plans to disseminate knowledge about the developed Model among people and entities dealing with non-formal and informal education and social activation of adults, both in partner countries and at the European level.

It was assumed that information about the project would be disseminated among 150 educational, training and social inclusion institutions and organizations. In addition, 90 people (trainers, educators, teachers, tutors, validators, animators, representatives of organizations dealing with adult education and/or social inclusion) will be trained in the work “Model for developing and certifying social competences of adults”/

At the end of the project, there will be an online meeting summarizing the project.
